RELAY / WINDOWS

The complete RELAY experience. Native.

A native Windows destination is being built for deeper format support, integrated torrent networking and full PARALLAX account continuity. There is no announced release date.

PLAYBACK

Native media engine

Roadmap targets include MKV, major containers, hardware decoding, HDR10 workflows, subtitle control and compatible Dolby Atmos passthrough.

NETWORKING

Integrated torrent engine

Native networking is intended to provide deeper buffering, seeking and diagnostics without depending on browser container support.

ECOSYSTEM

Shared identity

Profiles, library and history are planned to remain connected across PARALLAX and RELAY experiences.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Built beyond browser limits.

RELAY for Windows targets a single native experience where source discovery, torrent networking and media playback work together rather than crossing a browser-to-Companion boundary. Native playback should allow the team to test containers such as MKV, hardware decoding, HDR10 presentation, subtitle behavior and compatible audio passthrough with more control than a browser exposes. The PARALLAX identity layer is intended to keep profiles, library choices and history available across the ecosystem.

That direction is ambitious and remains under development. No release date has been announced, and every capability listed is a target until it passes implementation and compatibility testing. The waitlist is for progress and launch news, not a promise of a particular schedule or universal codec support.

AVAILABLE TODAY
