PARALLAX / CHANGELOG
What changed.
A dated record of meaningful product releases and ecosystem milestones.
August 2026 — Ecosystem Launch
PARALLAX browser streaming is live. RELAY Web with Companion is available for Windows. RELAY for Windows is in active development. Waitlist now open.
Shared PARALLAX identity
Account sessions now follow users across the public PARALLAX entry point, the browser streaming experience and RELAY. Google sign-in supports existing linked accounts, while new users can choose the account-creation flow and receive the same lifecycle emails as email-and-password members.
RELAY Web and Companion
RELAY Web is the torrent-focused member of the ecosystem. PARALLAX Companion performs release checks, peer connections and media preparation locally on supported Windows computers. RELAY prioritizes verified browser-compatible sources and gives clearer guidance when a container or codec cannot play in the browser.
Product separation
PARALLAX remains the immediate browser-streaming experience. Torrent-source catalogues and addon controls belong to RELAY, keeping each product’s purpose clear while profiles, library choices and history remain connected through one identity.
Analytics and discovery
The public ecosystem now uses the current GA4 property, expanded structured data, canonical URLs, social preview metadata and a generated sitemap. New guides cover browser torrent streaming, local Companion architecture and how PARALLAX differs from Stremio.
What remains in development
RELAY for Windows is still being built. Native container, HDR and audio capabilities remain product targets until they are implemented, tested and released. The Windows waitlist is open for launch updates; RELAY Web with Companion is the available experience today.
