Browser torrent streaming usually asks one piece of software to do two very different jobs. A browser presents a catalogue, manages an account and plays formats the web platform understands. It is not designed to run a complete torrent engine or decode every media container. Relay separates those responsibilities deliberately.

RELAY Web is the visible part of the experience. It lets you browse titles, inspect releases and compare useful source details before playback. RELAY Companion is the local Windows engine. It handles peer connections, torrent transfer and media preparation through a secured loopback endpoint on the same computer.

This architecture creates a practical form of browser torrent streaming without pretending browsers support every format. MP4 and WebM releases with browser-compatible codecs are the safest choices. MKV, HEVC and advanced audio formats may not work in RELAY Web.
